The Challenge:

Network marketing company Global Wellness invited its members to contribute to an advertising budget to purchase radio campaigns to drive leads. However, the leads needed to be distributed based on the percentage each person contributed to the total budget. When each call came in from the radio ads, the call had to be directed to the appropriate person’s voice mail, with a text message alerting the member of the call. Plus, each member needed to receive a copy of the voice mail in his or her e-mail inbox. And, in the event someone did not leave a voice mail, members wanted to receive an alert with the prospect’s phone number so they could call them back. Moreover, they wanted to track the performance of each radio station so they could measure their cost per lead by station.

The Solution:

To employ a popular marketing tool called AndCalls™, MarketingAnd assigned each radio station a unique phone number to track the client’s return on investment. MarketingAnd then set up a weight for each person in the group proportionate to the percentage he or she contributed. Our technical team routed the calls accordingly, provided voice mail boxes for each participant, sent copies of the appropriate voice mails to their e-mail boxes, and alerted them via text or e-mail when someone hung up with the person’s name and phone number to allow a call-back. Plus, automated call reports -- including locations, times and durations – were made available online 24/7.

The Results:

Global Wellness was able to make immediate adjustments to reduce advertising costs and, in turn, drastically increased its return on investment. Plus, the client no longer had to manually route the calls by taking a message and then calling the members with the message, as well as several other non-efficient steps. In addition to creating savings, the new marketing tools allowed our client to focus its employees and resources exclusively on new leads and customers.
